Slow Cooker Turkey Chili Recipe



We love Fall and Football season for all the yummy slow cooker meals but our family favorite has to be this super easy and delicious Slow Cooker Turkey Chili. Not only is it warm and satisfying but it is extremely healthy and a great way to cut back on use of red meat and increase veggies in even the pickiest of diets. I do include beans in my version but if you prefer they can easily be removed. This is one of the most simple dishes we make and feeds at least 6-8 servings.


  • 1 pound ground turkey browned and drained
  • 1 Cup Dry Pinto Beans
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1 Tomato Diced
  • 1 Red Onion Diced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper Diced
  • 2 12oz Cans Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 20-24oz Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 8oz. Can Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tablespoon crushed Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin
  • 2 Teaspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Mexican Oregano

Brown and drain ground turkey. Place all ingredients in slow cooker and stir to blend. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on medium heat for 4-5 hours.

A delicious and healthy Slow Cooker Turkey Chili can’t get much simpler than this! Enjoy it with your favorite sides of crackers, tortilla chips, green onions, cheese or even on top of a hot dog or over nachos!
