Keurig Mini Plus Single Cup Brewer + K-Cups Review – HOT Holiday Gift Idea!

I have been on the “One-Cup Coffeemaker Bandwagon” since the beginning. I can remember some of the first machines that used tiny coffee “pods” to brew up your “joe” 1 cup at a time. These machines were loud and rarely ever held more than a cup or so of water at a time. To be honest, the coffee that it made was never really that good either. And there was never much of a selection to speak of. Then along came Keurig. Not only does this 1 cup brewer make a delicious cup of coffee – it also makes a  delicious cup of hot cocoa, a delicious cup of apple cider, a delicious cup of tea…etc. There are new varieties coming out all of the time to satisfy ANY thirst!! Don’t drink hot beverages? There is STILL a K-cup for you! There are lots of iced variations available to choose from! Check out the HUGE selection at Cross Country Cafe!

One of the things I love about my Keurig is that I can stock up on K-Cups in all different varieties and whenever I have a craving – or company – there’s always plenty to choose from. The machine is quiet and fast! There’s not long wait for your cup of coffee! There are quite a few different sized Keurigs to choose from, depending on your needs. We currently have a larger brewer as well as this mini brewer. The larger brewer is great if it is your only coffee maker and your family drinks a lot of coffee. The Mini Plus brewer (pictured above) is a great size for having at the office or tucked aside on your counter. It won’t take up a huge amount of space and will be there whenever you need it! It’s available in several different colors too – so you can match your kitchen or office decor!

My husband and I both love coffee. But we both love different flavors and varieties! It’s so great that I don’t have to drink his Hazelnut flavored coffee when I need to have a cup of decaf. Or if he is wanting a cup of tea while I am craving some hot cocoa? I simply choose the K-cup that I want to drink and brew up my drink fresh! No waste and no wait!

Two of the varieties that we tried out from Cross Country Cafe were Wolfgang Puck’s Jamaica Me Crazy and Green Mountain Coffee’s Hazelnut Noisette. Since I am pregnant and can’t overdo it with caffeine, I was only able to taste test these, while my husband was lucky enough to get to indulge in the rest of them!! The Jamaica Me Crazy is soooo good if you love deep, dark, flavorful coffee! It’s so hard to believe that this was made using a single-cup brewer. Definitely coffeehouse quality here! The Hazelnut Noisette was tasty too! It has just enough of a hint of hazelnut to make it yummy without overwhelming the coffee and making it taste too sweet. I drink my coffee with a splash of milk, but both of these varieties also tasted really good without!

You can check out all of the different Keurig Models for sale as well as a HUGE variety of K-cups at Cross Country Cafe! I’ll be sure to keep you posted on the awesome deals that I find there as well!

*Cross Country Cafe provided me with a Keurig Mini Plus brewer and 2 boxes of K-cups from their wide selection in order to facilitate this review. No compensation was given. All opinions are my own.

I never had a k-cup cup of coffee, but if someone would hook me up with a new up to date coffee maker, :) then I will have a chance to taste other brands besides the one I buy :( and not have to click the coffee maker on and off (only an on/off switch on it).
