DIY on a Dime: Make Your Own Clorox Clean-Up!

Clorox-Bleach1

The best way to save on Clorox Clean-Up Bleach Cleanser is to make it at home! The recipe is so simple and inexpensive! When you use the recipe below, you’ll end up paying as little as $.10 per BOTTLE! Compare that to the real Clorox Clean-Up price tag of up to $4.99 per bottle!

What you’ll need:

1/4 cup of Bleach
1 Teaspoon of Laundry Detergent
1 Empty Plastic Spray Bottle (How about an empty Clorox Clean-Up bottle?)
Water

What you’ll need to do:

Rinse out the plastic spray bottle and then add the bleach and laundry detergent. Then fill the remainder of the bottle with tap water. Shake to mix. That’s it! Easy peasy – and super cheap!

*Note* I have seen some recipes on the net requiring you to use dishsoap instead of laundry detergent. This is not recommended because most dish soaps contain ammonia in them – which can create deadly fumes when mixed with bleach!
