Good morning! It’s day 2 of my BlogHer trip, and with the time change, I am up at 4am typing away! I really wanted to tell you all about my day yesterday while it was fresh on my mind. I brought my 4 month old son, Shem, with me on this trip, so it has been a lot more difficult to get on the computer than I expected it would be!

The plane trip was not too bad – the 4 hour stretch from Chicago to San Diego was a little boring and I thought of you all most of that time since I had originally planned to blog from the plane. Unfortunately, the plane I took yesterday was one of the few that did not have internet available and so I played Angry Birds on my iPad for 2 of the 4 hours instead.

After we arrived in San Diego, we met with some other awesome bloggers – Eleni from Mommy’s Money Saving Obsession, Carlee from At Home Moma, and Enza from Enza’s Bargains. Last night’s event was The Big Toy Book‘s Sweet Suite event at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was so much fun! I got to play with some awesome new toys that will be hitting the shelves soon and had some super tasty sweets as well! I could have stayed all night! I met with some really fun brands like LeapFrog who introduced me to the LeapPad – it’s like an iPad for your kiddos! My 2 year old is always confiscating my iPad so I was intrigued by the LeapPad’s durability and awesome learning games! I also met with Imperial Toys – keep an eye out for a review coming up in the next couple weeks for “tween girls”! ActiVision introduced me to their new video game, Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. These super cool and collectible action figures really come to life on the screen! There was so much more too – such an awesome event to be able to attend! I did manage to score some goodies to give away so be on the look out for a post about that.

I am going to grab some breakfast for myself before the little one wakes up – I brought a bag of Three Sisters Graham Crackerz cereal to share with my roomies (Eleni from Mommy’s Money Saving Obsession, my Sister Tammy, and my niece Kyanna) and want to make sure I get at least a bowl of it before it is gone!
